We are an Australian-owned business dedicated to providing high-quality mobility and care equipment designed to improve comfort, independence, and quality of life. Operating under Ability Builder Pty Ltd allows us to combine industry experience with a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and reliability.

Gentle Lift was created with a simple purpose: to make mobility and daily care safer, easier, and more comfortable for people who need extra support during ageing, recovery, or disability.

We understand that choosing mobility and lifting equipment is not just a technical decision, it’s a personal one. Whether you are recovering from surgery, caring for a loved one, or managing a long-term condition, having the right equipment can make a meaningful difference to comfort, dignity, and peace of mind.

While Gentle Lift is not a registered NDIS, TAC, HCP provider, many of our products may be suitable for individuals supported under government funding arrangements.

Eligibility for funding, reimbursement, or equipment approval depends on individual NDIS, TAC, HCP plans and circumstances. We encourage customers to:

• Speak with their Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Consult their support coordinator, plan or case manager
• Confirm approval requirements before placing an order or hire request

What We Offer

Gentle Lift provides a carefully selected range of mobility and lifting equipment, available for Hire, Hire-to-Own, Purchase, including:

All equipment is inspected, cleaned, and maintained to ensure safety, reliability, and hygiene.

Flexible Hire & Purchase Options

We understand that needs can change unexpectedly. That’s why we offer:

• Short, and longer-term hire options
• Flexible hire extensions
• A hire-to-own option for eligible extended hires, first time in Australia
• Purchase options for long-term use

Our team works closely with customers to help them choose the most practical and cost-effective solution.
